Mission Statement –
Our Children's Homestead is committed to assuring that abused, neglected and troubled children with special health care needs, will live safely and securely with a family in a permanent place called home.
Vision Statement –
Our vision is to take one child, no matter what circumstances surround them, and work as a team to overcome any barrier that stands in the way of them being successful, proficient, and belonging to a family. By not giving up on any child, we help them to achieve their full potential and realize their dreams so that they can live a happy, healthy and loving life.
One Child One Dream –
Our Children's Homestead’s mission is based on the belief that each child brought into our organization has the opportunity to do and become what he/she wishes despite the pain and suffering they have endured. Over the years several programs have been developed that are tailored specifically to these children offering them the support and resources necessary to succeed. By focusing on One Child with One Dream we don’t lose sight of the importance of the child. One day that child will do great things and accomplish plenty but they can’t do it alone. Our Children's Homestead relies on many resources to help these children. Foster parents, community assistance, financial support, volunteerism and devoted staff members are all part of the essential team needed to carry out our mission of One Child One Dream.
