Champions for Children

NAPERVILLE, IL (Oct. 24, 2011)—Our Children’s Homestead, a local non-profit foster care and adoption agency, invites Naperville and Chicagoland community members to attend its annual “Champions for Children” event on Saturday, Nov. 12, at the Hyatt Lodge at McDonald’s Campus.
“Champions for Children,” sponsored by HLM Capital and Republic Bank, will benefit more than 200 foster children and their families by providing crucial programs and therapy. The cost to attend the event is $150 per person or $1,250 for a table of 10.
The event starts at 6:00 p.m., with a social hour and an auction preview. The evening’s entertainment will be provided by the Young Naperville Singers (YNS), a local choir group, who will give a memorable singing performance.
“This is our ninth year in hosting this benefit dinner and every year we’ve not only accomplished our fundraising goals, but continued to increase participation,” said Kirstin Samp, Director of Development. “With the help of community individuals and businesses we are able to increase our exposure for the great things we do for children in foster care and also raise necessary funds to support their needs.”
